Proxis Nylon - Nylon melt-blown filter elements
Nylon melt-blown filter cartridges, They are provided with metallic or nylon inner core. Proxis Nylon can be considered the best alternative to Proxis A and Proxis T whenever the fluids are strong solvents and the temperature exceeds 70°C
Applications
- Fine chemicals
- Coatings
- Petrochemicals
- General engineering
- Hydraulics
Available nominal micron retention: 1*, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 micron
* - on application
Filter media material: Nylon microfiber
Inner core materials
- Nylon
- Zinc plated carbon steel
- Stainless steel
Typical fluids
- Solvent trap-filter
- Solvent based paints, lacquers, emulsions, waxes, inks
- Amine streams glycol solutions, kerosene, paraffin
- Return condensate, hot water, solvents in ultrasonic cleaning
- Hydraulic fluids
- Fuel and lubricants
Benefits
- No binders, thermowelded fibers
- No fiber release
- No contaminant downloading when deltaP grows
- Consistency, batch traceability
- Absolute retention, Beta=1000 (efficiency 99.9%)
- Small fibers = High void volume = High dirt capacity,
- Max working temperature exceeding 100°C
- Full compatibility with organic solvents
- Good mechanical strength
Cartridge configurations:
- __ = Double open ended, no end-caps
- A1 = Double open ended with flat gaskets
- C8 = O.R. 2-222 + capped - flat
- P8 = O.R. 2-222 + capped with spear
- C7 = O.R. 2-226 + bayonet - capped flat
- P7 = O.R. 2-226 + bayonet – capped with spear
